What will you do?

As a Junior AI Engineer at Rebtel you are someone who has already shipped AI-powered products and wants to accelerate their growth in a fast-moving environment. This is not a research role. We want someone who can turn AI capabilities into business impact.

You'll work closely with teams to build, deploy, and improve AI systems that create measurable value across the organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and production software development.

Areas of ownership:

• Build AI-powered applications using modern LLMs and agent frameworks.

• Design, implement, and optimize RAG systems using vector databases and enterprise data sources

• Develop internal AI tools that improve productivity, quality, automation, customer experience, and decision-making

• Create evaluation frameworks to measure AI quality, reliability, latency, and business impact

• Work with product and business stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities.

• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and workflows

• Monitor, debug, and continuously improve production AI systems.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications.

Requirements:

• You are an excellent communicator and collaborator. We work in English, but you will hear many languages in our Stockholm office

• Professional experience developing and deploying AI-powered applications, including hands-on work with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG systems, and platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.

• Experience building and deploying RAG based solutions.

• Experience with APIs, databases, and cloud environments.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and model evaluation.

• Ability to independently build prototypes and ship features.

• Experience with LangChain or similar frameworks is a plus

• It's a plus with experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or pgvector.

• Familiarity with agentic workflows and tool calling is a plus

• It's a bonus if you have experience deploying AI applications to production.

• Understanding of AI observability and evaluation platforms is a plus

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
